Sephora Bronzed and Blushing Face Palette has to be one of the most awesome deals I've seen in a while! If you haven't noticed, Sephora has been coming out with a lot of budget-friendly, quality stuff lately, and this palette is one of my latest discoveries from the brand!

The Bronzed and Blushing Face Palette features a trio of one matte bronzer (Los Cabos), and two matte blushes (Blushing Pink and Coral Punch).  I am not sure if you can tell from the first photo, but in person, this is such a sleek, streamlined, and in fact one gorgeous-looking palette! The packaging is made of lightweight plastic and has a nice-sized mirror inside.

Los Cabos

Los Cabos is a universally-flattering, medium warm-toned brown bronzer with a matte finish. The color payoff is rather sheer in my opinion, but this is exactly why I love it so much. It is easier to build the color than take away, especially when it comes to bronzing/contouring; less is just better. I also like that Los Cabos gives a completely natural-looking finish on the skin due to the lack of that orange tinge that most bronzers tend to have.

I like to use MAC 188, Real Techniques Stippling Brush or e.l.f Small Stipple Brush to apply (they are small size but they fit perfectly on the area under my cheek bones). On my medium skin (NC30 with yellow undertones), it takes roughly a few layers for the color to show up (not bad, really!); fair skin might be able to get away with less while darker skin may need to apply more.

Blushing Pink

Blushing Pink is such a natural-looking and super flattering shade that I see most suitable for daytime/office wear. It is a slightly warm-toned petal pink with a matte finish. It is decently pigmented but since it's more of a lighter color, it requires a few swipes to be visible on my cheeks. I like to use a dense brush to apply this shade to help the pigment grab onto the skin better.

With light application, the pink comes out more as a highlighting shade on me, which is really cool in a way! Pink highlighter? Yes, please! The buildability is good but one thing to keep in mind is that as you build, the powder may become just a tad bit chalky. I'm not sure how well this shade would show up on dark skin tones, though.

Coral Punch

The name Coral Punch is slightly misleading because it's not really a true coral. I'm seeing a combination of coral and rosy pink. It is definitely a pink blush, but with lots of warm coral in it. Obviously, this is the “pop” color of the palette and let me tell you, it is beautiful! Just all around a perfect shade for Summer! It has excellent color payoff so a loose brush is probably a better tool to use so you won't overdo it. Wear light for a fresh-faced, youthful look, or layer to deepen the color for a party look — Coral Punch won't disappoint! :)

The powder is finely-milled across the board making the application smooth and even. The longevity is incredible! Seriously, for the price I did not expect them to last long at all. Turns out, they stay on the skin like nobody's business! And I'm talking an all-day-wear here, even the lightest shade Blushing Pink. Impressive!

This is a great piece to have if you are just getting into makeup, a frequent traveler, or a makeup collector. It has all the basic cheek colors to complete your look in one convenient palette. You can wear each shade alone or customize to make your own color — such a value-packed item!

Looking at my makeup stash, I don't really have too much of anything from Sephora brand (for reasons unknown to myself!) except their brushes. It's starting to change, though! Now that I have tried a few items of theirs and haven't been disappointed yet, I think my next purchase would be the just-released 10 Shades of Samba Waterproof Eyeliner set. It's unfortunately out of stock right now but I have signed up for the email notification when it comes back in stock! The product is getting almost 5-star review so I have a good feeling that it will be a happy purchase!

This is a lovely palette! I especially like how the bronzer isn’t orange. I’ve never quite understood the whole orange thing, actually. I’m not sure humans actually come in ‘orange’ at all – except where fake tan is involved…

All the real tans and tanned skintones I’ve ever seen seem to lean more toasty/golden (although obviously I haven’t met everyone in the world!). I think the world needs more neutral-y bronzers!

Hi Jaa! :) Such a great review and beautiful photos! I actually don’t currently own any Sephora products other than a cuticle pen, but now you have me interested in their makeup line! This palette looks beautiful on you. Your skin is also looking so flawless! If you do get the waterproof eye liner set, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it :).

    • Jaa says:

Thanks, Carolyn! I’ve had some good luck with Sephora makeup lately! Definitely going to buy more! Their eyeliners are pretty good! I bought a smaller set before and they are nice! :)

  • Divya says:

This looks like a really good deal for the money! Definitely looks gorgeous on you! :-) Do you think this will be available at a Non-US Sephora?

    • Jaa says:

Thank you, Divya! I have no idea about its availability abroad! I’d hope so! Such a good budget piece, I want everyone to own it! Haha.

  • If I didn’t already have like five billion blushes I’d be so all over this! It’s indeed a lovely palette, and great for travelling.

i always wonder the quality of the Sephora makeup but never really buy them

  • Erin says:

I love that the bronzer is matte and not orange. I think the Coral looks more lively on you in photographs!

  • This one looks like a must-have. Travel friendly and the colors are also really good. Loved it

  • GlossBerry says:

  • Judy says:

Thanks for the swatches! I was thinking if I should order it or not, but the blushes are gorgeous!! So definitely getting it now ;)

  • Natasja says:

oh my, oh my. The colors look gorgeous!! I do love blushes but I don’t wear them often because of my rosacea-infected cheeks.. sigh.

    • Jaa says:

Aww… I’m sorry… :( Do you wear foundation regularly to cover it? I can only imagine how frustrating it must be having to deal with the permanent redness. :((

  • i have one of their liners and it is pretty good. the taupe flashy liner i think. and their newer contour liners have pretty good shades and are pretty decent but i think had some ingredient that bothers my eyes. Haven’t tried much else sephora brand, though their new velvet waterproof cream eyeshadow things seem nice too.

    • Jaa says:

Oh no! What do you think causes the irritation? 8-O

I’ve been intrigued (and mostly impressed) with some of their newer stuff lately! Their eyeliners are pretty good, vibrant, though not as soft as the UD ones. I haven’t tried their cream shadows yet!
