  • Olivia says:

Most of these products I can only dream of (way over my poor student budget, haha). They all look too beautiful, especially the Hourglass highlighters. The make-up mirror from Simplehuman seems like an amazing invention, I could definitely use one since I have one lamp that only lightens up one side of my face >_< Everything on your blog is to die for, actually!

    • Jaa says:

Thanks, Olivia! ^_^ Oh it must be hard to apply makeup with just one light source on one side of the face!! The Simplehuman mirror is definitely an investment but you can always save up and buy during the 20% off sale plus ebates/credit card cash back!

  • Sunny says:

Hey Jaa, our lists actually overlap a little! I also adore the Clinique cleansing balm, LM Caviar Sticks, and Digital World! I also discovered Dior Backstage Blender this year, and in all honesty I haven’t applied foundation with a brush ever since! Oh and Verso, because a little retinol works wonders!

  • brenda says:

For me, the best product is the Armani Luminous Silk foundation, i love it! Also, the vitamin E serum from the Body Shop has become a favourite, my skin is so much better now.

  • Audrey says:

The Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks have been my favorite makeup discovery of 2014! I am absolutely in love and I want one in each color, LOL! :D

    • Jaa says:

Me too, Audrey! I want every single color as well! And in mini size if possible! Imagine how cute they would be! :D

  • Janet says:

I would say my favorite product purchases for 2014 are the Becca Souffle Blushes, The Balm How Bout Them Apples Blush and Lip Palette, Too Faced Chocalate Bar #1, (.i agree with you I could just sit there and smell it all day! :D), Bite Beauty Mix and Mingle Gift Set, and the smaller one with the 4 Pencils. I LOVE Pomegranite!!!! ;D :D. oh yes, and how could I forget my Tarte Rain Forest After Dark Palette and my Hourglass gloss in Siren. I love those Hourglass Blushes, and the Cindy Lumanizer I was wondering about. They will go on my wish list! ;) It is a pretty color! The Georgio Armani Maestro Bronzer looks really cool too! Nice goodies you have there Jaa!!! :D :D :D ;)

    • Jaa says:

I’d like to try those Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé blushes soon! I played with them a few times in-store and they are so much fun! I skipped the Tarte Rain Forest After Dark Palette simply because the snake design scared me. LOL. Everything inside is so beautiful, though!

  • popsicle13 says:

yeahhhhhhh <33333 big love with pro longwear concealer

i stil want the Giogio armani liquid bronzer soooo badd

    • Jaa says:

I’m surprised the GA Liquid Bronzer is still in stock! I thought it was going to be an LE item! I hope they make it permanent because this thing is seriously so good and versatile! :)

  • Agata says:

Wonderful picks. A lot of them are my beauty discoveries as well! And I am totally on board with you with the Naked 3 palette too, it’s my favorite out of the 3.

  • Fiona says:

Wow Jaa! I absolutely love your favourites. I have tried 2-3 from the list and feel the same.

  • Monique says:

    Love your picks!
I have to say that 2014 was a great year for beauty goodies
Thank you for sharing this with us
Wishing you a wonderful New Year

    • Jaa says:

Agreed! Sooo many amazing beauty products released in 2014! I could barely keep up! I have a feeling 2015 is going to be even more competitive! Happy New Year to you as well, Mo! <3

  • Erin says:

Have you seen the new Bite mask? It’s strawberry tinted. I think I might get that one! Naked 3 and Ambient powders are on the top of my list still!

  • Xuvious says:

I love your review of Pussycat! As far as discoveries go it’s probably the Bourjois lip cream, LORAC Pro, and Nars Audacious. :)

  • Lily says:

That’s a whole lot of goodness :-) That Simplehuman mirror looks good but man, the price! I’ve been reading so many raves about the CLinique cleansing balm and I tried it last year, but didn’t really like it. I think it’s the texture that I don’t like, and I went through the tub way too fast. I’m sticking to my Omorovicza and Bobbi Brown :-)

    • Jaa says:

You don’t like the texture? How come? I LOVE the texture! LOL! But yeah, I go through it very quickly, too! I tend to use too much each time. LOL.

  • Sylirael says:

WHY MUST YOU TAUNT ME WITH PUSSCAT!?! {{{{{{{{{{Jaa}}}}}}}}}} :-D

There’s a breathtking amount of goodness on this list. Seriously. I really want to try that Bite lip mask now – especially as I see that there’s a red/pink tinted version!!

    • Jaa says:

I really want to buy the new color but I only use the mask as a lip treatment before bed or under my other lipstick, so maybe I should stick with the original, colorless one. :-/

  • So many things here that I want to add to my collection in 2015! The First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads need to get in my cart ASAP. I’m trying a natural solution for my acne breakouts and scarring using Organic Apple Cider Vinegar for a month. If it works, YAY! If not, Facial Radiance Pads will be my next try. I’m still sore about missing out on Nude Dip, that’s my biggest missed-the-boat boohoo of the year. 3 products stand out to me as my absolute hands-down BEST of the entire year, and that’s:
-Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation
    -Glossier Balm Dotcom
-Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush in Love Glow
If you decide to pick up one of the CT blushes, I can’t say enough about how awesome my customer service experience was at Beautylish! It was packed with great care and arrived quickly. They sent a handwritten note, and followed up with an email to see verify that I’d received it and ask what I thought about it! I responded back, and the customer service person wrote me back again – like 2 friends having a chat about beauty products! It was amazing.

    • Janet says:

Apple Cider vinegar is awesome! Great for so many things! Full of salicylic acid, great for digestion, etc. So many things! Will be anxious to hear how it works!!! Superior customer service like that! I LOVE THAT!!! So nice!

    • Jaa says:

Oh wow! I know they send out a handwritten note with your order but to reply to you personally, too? I want to place my first order now just for the experience!!! :D Maybe I’ll pick up that Love Glow blush you’ve been raving about!! :D
