Review & Usage
Sephora Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush #57 is a new favorite concealer brush of mine. It's a round, dome-shaped, synthetic brush that works differently than most typical flat concealer brushes. The bristles are extremely soft and therefore, perfect for using under the delicate eye area. I have used it with both liquid and cream concealers with great results. The way I use it is to dab a concealer on the area on the face and blend out with this brush using a gentle circular buffing motion. For a cream product that's a little difficult to spread out, I'll dab some on the back of my hand (to warm up) and pick up the product with the brush to avoid tugging/pulling the skin. The dense bristles guarantee a smooth, streak-free, and cake-free finish every time.
The size of the brush is larger than most concealer brushes so I'd reserve it for wider areas on the face such as under eye and around the mouth and nose (it covers redness around my nose like a pro when used in combination with my favorite Clé de Peau Concealer). You can also use it to contour down the sides of the nose or blend a highlighter on the upper cheek area.
It withstands cleaning well without losing any hair or shape. This is truly a well-designed and constructed brush that is worthy of all the raves. For a flawless, airbrush-like finish, look no further! :)
Footnote
Another great feature of this brush is the included protective snap-on cover! This thing is genius! I wish all brushes would come with a case like this. It is so perfect for keeping the bristles safe and clean as well as separating them from other brushes after use. One thing I'm not too crazy about, though, is its super long handle! The brush is easy to hold and maneuver alright, but the length of the handle can prove problematic at times especially when trying to get really close to the mirror during application.

What I love about these Sephora brushes is the cap/case they give along with it! genius! why can’t everyone do that?? Its so good to keep your brushes clean and damage proof! This looks like a great blending brush for concealer! might pick it up the next time I happen to be near a Sephora!
I’m totally in love with the protective cap! It’s so much fun to use, too! Haha.
Hey Jaa, ooo I need to look into this! I like the protective cover as well! Every brush should come with one! That would make traveling with brushes so much easier :)
I know right?! It does take up quite a bit of space, though!
Can’t. Stop. Staring. At. Closeup.
…
Still. Staring.
:-D
LOL! Sylllllllllllllllllllllllll
So pretty! I love how it comes with its own cover.
Pretty neat, yeah?
It’s so great that Sephora made a concealer brush that doesn’t resemble a painter’s brush. Those aren’t bad, but I can’t buff out my concealer the way this one would allow me to do.
Agreed! :)
I have the older version of this brush (silver handle) and I use it every day! It is absolutely perfect for buffing out concealer and making it look natural! Too bad you didn’t snag the older one – it’s quite a bit shorter and easier to wield. However, it didn’t come with the awesome guard, so I guess it’s a trade off?
You’re lucky! Shorter length would have made this brush perfect. Although having a protective cap is a really nice feature, too!
I never use a brush for concealer. I find if I don’t have it warmed by my fingers it will never blend!
I try to warm it up also (when I remember) but I always finish with a brush. Fingers are too messy for me! :)
Hi, I wonder how the Sephora Airbrush concealer #57 brush compares to the Sigma P80 brush… if I have only room for one concealer brush which would be better? My primary concern is under-eye concealing and redness around the nose area and some occasional marks from pimples.
