February 2014 Favorites

It's been such a harsh Winter so far so most of my favorites this month revolves around keeping my skin moisturized and looking healthy! :)

MAC Mineralize Charged Water Skin Hydrating Mist

I finished my bottle of Fix+ earlier this month and thought I'd try something different. I picked up this Mineralize Charged Water to give my skin extra doses of hydration. I like to mist it on my face prior to foundation application to help it spread better and give it a more natural finish. I also use it again once I set my makeup with a setting powder to take away the powdery look and to keep my skin dewy.

Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer in Paradiso

New and limited edition, Paradiso has slowly become one of my go-to lip products this Winter! It hydrates well and gives my lips a nice tint of watermelon pink! I also picked up Summer Fling, which is a color I like even more than Paradiso, but it dries out my lips, unfortunately. Paradiso is so easy to wear, offers a lot of shine and feels like a lip balm.

Chanel Le Blush Crème de Chanel in Intonation

Limited edition from the Notes de Printemps Collection for Spring 2014, Intonation has become my second favorite cream blush from Chanel! (My most favorite is still Révélation.) The warm coral pink shade really brightens up my complexion like no other. I also really love the cream-to-powder formula (so easy to spread out/blend!). It has good staying power, too, and the pigmentation is intense! Worn sheered out, it gives such a nice healthy-looking flush!

NARS Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross

To keep my skin from looking dull and lifeless, I like to add a little bit of highlighter on top of my cheekbones whenever possible. Albatross leaves such a beautiful light golden sheen that is not too over the top and blends in nicely with my medium skin with yellow undertones. The effect is subtle but still enough to provide a beautiful natural-looking glow. It is absolutely gorgeous and is one of my all-time favorites!

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 in Rosé and Clear

I received this mini duo set last year (or two years ago?!) from Sephora during my birthday month and I think it's one of the best birthday gift sets Sephora has ever given out. Rosé is berry-tinted while Clear is colorless. I absolutely love the soft texture of these balms! It's so incredibly soft that you have to be careful not applying too much pressure during application or it can break off! The formula is very emollient and applies with absolutely no dragging. The SPF 15 is a nice added bonus and the fresh lemon vanilla scent is just to die for.

And that's a wrap! Now it's your turn to share with me some tips on how to keep your skin looking healthy and hydrated! :)
