I hope you are ready for another load of cuteness! :D Today I present to you the most adorable solid perfume ring in the shape of none other than our beloved character Hello Kitty!
Released as part of the 40th Anniversary celebration, this limited edition cocktail ring houses a solid perfume of the brand's best-selling scent. It is a super sweet (in a pleasant way) non-overpowering, and quite addicting scent with notes of cassis sorbet, Italian mandarin, green apple, magnolia blossom, fressia, orange flower, tonka bean, vanilla, and musk. It is actually a very fun and flirty scent that I really think anyone — regardless of age — will appreciate! To give you an idea of how much I love the scent: I actually take a pause from writing this post every 5 seconds to sniff it! :D
The perfume is housed in a Hello Kitty's face-shaped ring with ruby crystals encrusted on the bow. To use, simply slide the face to the left to reveal the perfume and use your finger to extract the scent and rub it anywhere on your body where you usually put on your perfume such as behind the ears, on your chest, wrists, or neck. The face slides back down with a strong magnetic force to close. Very simple and very practical!
The not-so-practical part, though, is the fact that this baby weighs a whopping 1.32 oz (37.4 g)! Not exactly lightweight here. Plus, the ring only comes in one non-adjustable size (I believe it's a size 7) with a diameter of 1.7 cm which even on my thumb is still loose and will fall off if I try to wear it. I suppose one can wear it as a pendant around the neck but the weight might give you a slight case of neck ache!
The scent lasts for a good 4-5 hours on me, quite impressive actually. While I might not be able to wear it on my finger, I've been keeping it in my makeup bag for work everyday. It comes in handy when I need a quick boost of the lovely scent or when I simply need to de-stress! The ring is not available for purchase online on Sephora.com anymore but you can still buy it from a physical store (and now at a reduced price!). I strongly encourage you take a sniff when you get a chance! :)
Do you wear solid perfume? What formula do you prefer? Oil, spray, roll on, or solid?
