Make Up For Ever
Sens'Eyes Waterproof Sensitive Eye Cleanser
I'm late to the party here but this one has such interesting texture for an eye makeup remover! It's a lightweight gel that is free of mineral oil. You can either soak the cotton pad with it or apply it directly on the eyes and use your ring finger to dissolve makeup. You don't need to wipe or rub much at all as long as you let it sit on the makeup for about 10-15 seconds first. It removes everything so easily be it powder or cream makeup as well as long-wear and waterproof formula. It lacks scent and doesn't seem to bother my eyes in anyway. Plus, it doesn't leave any residue behind!

Thinking about it!

Peter Thomas Roth
Cucumber Gel Mask
I feel that this mask is specifically formulated to soothe and calm dryness and or inflammation on dry/sensitive skin. It has all kinds of skin-nourishing components in it such as cucumber, chamomile, sugar maple, orange, lemon, and aloe. On my combination-oily skin, it doesn't seem to do much of anything, however. I hardly feel or notice a change in my skin after use; my face feels a bit more hydrated maybe, but that's about it. It just doesn't do much for me. The texture is smooth and gel-like which reminds me of aloe. It has a wonderful scent, though; very light and refreshing.

Murad
Pore Reform Skin Smoothing Polish
I have mentioned before that I've stopped using all face polish that contains obvious microbeads but for review purposes, I decided to give this one a try. Main ingredients include mirco-polishing beads, witch hazel and cinnamon extract, and pomegranate seed oil. I have to say the beads in this one are less abrasive than most scrubs so it doesn't feel scratchy or harsh at all on my skin. It exfoliates well leaving my skin squeaky clean afterwards. No tightening or stripping of the skin. It has a thick paste consistency but still spreads well on damp skin. Lovely scent of witch hazel!

Not right now
I have been eyeing the Peter Thomas Roth masks for a while, but I think I´d start with another one.

Do you have any particular one in mind?
Now, two years later? Well, a few. I have recently bought a trio of Peter Thomas Roth masks, but have yet to open them. The pumpkin enzyme mask is among them.
And hello there! How are you?

Ooh, glad to hear that the Sens’Eyes was so effective! I tried it years ago and it didn’t work very well at all- they must have reformulated!
I’m sorry but I have to take my word back. For some odd reason, it seems to sting my eyes really badly now whenever I use it. Such a shame.
That cucumber mask will probably come more in handy in the summer. Chuck it in the fridge!
My favorite PTR product that I’ve tried… which is only a handful, is by far the Unwrinkle Pads. Exceptional exfoliation! Almost as good as a spa treatment!
Wow! That good?!! Must try then! I’ve never thought of putting the cucumber mask in the fridge. Great idea!
That make-up remover sounds good! At the moment I am happy with my Nivea make-up remover though. That said, lately it has been bothering my skin a bit, so maybe it’s time to explore new things.
Have you tried the new Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover? It’s da bomb!!!
Agreed! The Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask just felt like throwing a layer of aloe vera on the skin. Now the Pumpkin Spice mask, though? That one is INCREDIBLE!
Haven’t tried it!!! 8-O If Kristen says it’s good then it must be really good!!
I’ve been wanting to try the PTR mask! I still have quite a few masks to go through but once I’m done with about 2, I’ll pick one up :-)
Not sure if you have picked one up by now but do let me know what you ended up with! :)
I used my sample of the PTR cucumber mask during the summer as a way to soothe skin after sun exposure. I kept mine in the refrigerator for maximum cooling effect. It’s also great after a hot shower. Besides that I agree that it does not do much in the way of hydration. The one PTR mask that I really want to try is the Irish Moore Mud Mask. I can get the same effect from aloe vera for much cheaper. Looks like I need to break out my sample of the MUF Sens’Eyes and give it a try :-)
Weird thing about the MUFE remover is that lately it stings my eyes so bad whenever I use it! Not sure why! Such a shame. :(
Ack, too bad that pore refiner contains witch hazel. My skin doesn’t tolerate witch hazel well :-(
